Yes, it works well. You can use the iPad photo application or the nicer Portfolio app. Photographer Vincent Laforet is actually mailing iPads (I've heard) to clients for work. I'm dropping mine off at an office this week while I'm on assignment in Vietnam for hopefully a large image order. I'm using it for many photographic and assignment tasks but it hasn't yet - or won't -- replace my macbook pro. It's just another too. I'm looking forward to future posts on this.
