This is not correct. Kodak actually has not made a new master roll in 2 or 3 years, they have just been making new rolls off the master roll which was in deep freeze. And their discontinuation announcement was during June of 2009 I do believe. Dwayne's Photo Lab in Parsons, Kansas will process Kodachrome 64 if they get it by December 30th.
Some mentioned that Rocky Mountain photo lab processing Kodachrome which is not true. Dwayne's is the only company processing Kodachrome because it is likely a sort of join venture with Kodak to get the chemicals to process the film and possibly Kodak sharing the cost of getting the film processed. Rocky Mountain at most would have been sending the kodachrome you give them to Dwayne's and acting as a middle man.
