I feel your pain!

Right now I have two photo quality printers (which I use for printing proposals, promotional
pieces and proof sheets) and both; one a Canon and the other a Konica/Minolta, have
excellent output.

The problem is that neither is even remotely reliable and both are insanely expensive to keep
operating. I am proud to say that one or the other will work when I need it and that I often get
compliments on my print quality.

I am reasonably convinced that the Xerox Phaser wax thermal printers are far more reliable
than what I currently have and at least equal them in quality. But they're too heavy for one
person to carry and draw so much electricity that they're not practical in home offices. So not
right now.
