Read from a customer who bought it. Don't buy until you read this...

I purchased Panasonic ZS7 since it declared to have a larger lens than mostpoint-and-shoots, quick burst picture taking (the time it takes to take apicture after you press the button) and manual override on aperture and f-stopand shutter speed.
I have notbeen disappointed. The pictures are clear and beautiful.
The things Ilove about it are:
1. The wayit lets you simply change the settings from portrait to scenery to action shotsto many others
2. The quickburst speed and the burst setting that allows you to take many, many picturesright in a row.
3. The HDquality of the movies.
4. The quickaccess menu, the flash, the timer are all there at the touch of one button.
Things Idon't love about it :
1. The"digital camera photo" look of the pictures if you don't have theright setting. (It has a computerized look)
2. The learningcurve on all the extra features if you are not familiar with the extrasettings. It does have an auto setting, but, as I said, the pictures are morecomputerized.
All in all,I would recommend Panasonic Lumix ZS7 to anyone looking for a high-quality camerathat will still fit in your pocket. The pictures are not DSLR quality, but thisis as close as I have seen for a point-and-shoot.
