Hi All: An area college gallery is sponsoring a juried art show. They are only accepting submissions electronically (digital images)for jurying. They specify that the submitted images must be Jpegs at 300 Dpi or higher in resolution. The images are to burned to a CD and delivered to the gallery. I have no problem making a electronic submission of my work pieces, but what I'm not too keen of is being requested to send in 300 DPI images, especially when the CD's will not be returned. They state nothing about liability for handling Hi resolution images or destroying the CD if the entrant is not accepted. From what I have seen with other gallery submissions that request digital images, they ask for 72 DPI and a certain size file for projecting. Tell me what you think.
