Good morning all;
I have been using EZ up canopy tents for twenty plus years. I made me weights using 3 inch by 30 inch pieces of pvc pipe filled with sinple sacrete concrete mix. I do not hang the weights from the canopy as I have seen many people do. EZ up canopys are to cheaply made for that kind of stress. The best method I found is to bungy cord a weight to each supporting leg resting on the footing of the canopy frame. I have only come close to losing the canopy three times from wind gusts that caught us off guard. If allowed I also stake the tent and weight it down.
