sigh! Dollar General was an Example. In a recent poll of US businesses 85% were hiring this year - mostly getting that were laid off.
As far as housing! Yea - it's a problem mostly with banks unwilling to lend which is why it is SO easy to refinance right now (part of the . . .dare I say - - Obama's Refinance & Loan Modification Program) but let's not open THAT can of worms as I know how you guys get!!. Heck - I just had to sign my name to get 4.5% on a 30 year refinance on my house. Didn't even need to have the house inspected or appraised.
ANYWAY - all I'm saying is that AS A WHOLE the economy is doing well, people are spending a lot of money (see the Christmas sales numbers) and it's not all doom and gloom for a majority of Americans!
