Yes, Costco does coat their canvas prints and they are protective coatings.  I
sent in my first one for a Christmas present for my mother-in-law as a 16x20
print, no edges or borders, and they added what they needed for a border
(black).

Now, they did a beautiful job.  BUT, I am not sure I would have them print for
a show.  I'd have to ask some more questions for that, and I personally don't
like the black border.  I prefer Gigantic Color right here in Dallas.

Do these services coat their canvas? Canvas absolutely needs to be
coated after it's printed. It's not an option.
