Uniformity across the display is important and part of what you're
paying for with the Eizo. I've heard that the Apples usually fare poorly
in this area with many of them needing to be returned. It would appear
that Apple doesn't tend to it while Eizo and NEC take special measures
to adjust many areas of the display in the factory so that they closely
match before you buy it.
