I just finish my worst year ever. Not because I did bad choices is just simply
my work did not move as well. All the shows that preform well for me are the
shows that sold lot of frame pieces. I did walk way with a bad feeling but I
also came out with a lot hope. I think Since I endure this last two years I will
go another round with the shows that feel okay with them. I think I only will
try a new show this year and consider late on Texas for the fall. I am redesign
my presentation and eliminating images but more important I start next weekend
with going out at least one day of the week to take pictures.
Also I cutting expenses and as you guy know fixing the the website.

Subject: [artshow_photo] Anyone taking 2011 off?
Is anyone going to take 2011 off from doing art shows due to the continued
stagnant U.S. economy? Any economic recovery is predicted to be slow and take
several years. Any additional buying is going to be for more necessities
(clothing, home repairs) than luxuries like art.
And I see shows increasing their jury and booth fees over the past year or two
that we've been in this recession. They do it because they can always find
artists to fill the booths, but end up taking ones that would not get in when
submissions were high during a good economy.
