It's very bad in spite of the rising stock market which is an aberration
involving international money and not main street. The new bubble will
burst worse than the last. Loans are very difficult to get and no
meaningful hiring is happening. Most economists agree that the stimulus
package wasn't big enough to do the job and this Congress won't approve
any more of it, so the handwriting is on the wall that we're in for a
rough ride. I wouldn't venture into any long term agreements without
protecting your nest egg, if you still have one.
