[artshow_photo] Re: Can I get a review of my proposed prices for the upcoming year?

Well, we have settled on pricing for the upcoming show season. We upped our prices across the board to reflect our move out of high school gyms and into mainly small local city art shows.

We also just got accepted to our first gallery who agreed to carry 16 of our images in their matted section with possible upgrade to "framed on the wall" status if they sell.

Here is what we settled on (all sizes are finished sizes):

Matted:
8x10 - $20/1, $35/2, $45/3
12x16 - $50/1, $90/2, $115/3
16x20 - $75/1, $130/2, $170/3
8x16 - $35

Framed:
8x10 - $45
12x16 - $85
16x20 - $150
10x22 - $100

And print only from our web site (US Shipping Included Free)

Print Only:
5x7 - $15
8x12 - $25
12x16 - $40
4x12 - $17.50

We also decided to ditch Sam's Club which, while giving good quality, failed to give consistent results. We have now switched to Bay Photo for all of our printing needs. I feel ready for a successful season of shows! Now all we need is to be accepted to the shows I picked out (shouldn't be a problem) and all will be well!

Again, any input would be appreciated (I know the prices are still a tad low, but we just can't see going higher at this point only to out price everyone at these local city art shows... easier to raise then to lower kinda thinking). And I want to thank everyone who has put their 2 cents into this thread... you were very helpful in guiding us to a place where we are more comfortable with our decisions.
