Don't be swayed by the price. I tried them once (due to price), and
NEVER AGAIN! First of all, they are based in Germany . The day after I
placed my order, I received a call from the fraud department of my bank
warning me that my credit card was being used fraudulently overseas.
After a little research on my part (see their payment terms page:
http://www.canvasdiscount.com/securepayment/)
<http://www.canvasdiscount.com/securepayment/> I learned that the
charge was from CanvaseDiscount.com and authorized my bank to process
it. Then a few days later I received a service charge on my bank account
due to the overseas transaction. To top it off, I received my canvas
about 3 weeks later. It came in a tube, with the canvas rolled up and
some stretcher bars with paper instructions on how to assemble it. As I
unrolled the canvas, I noticed the ink on the bottom third of the canvas
had smudged and the ink had ran down the side. So I threw the whole
thing away. I guess you get what you pay for and I should have known
better!
