I wanted to introduce myself. I have been "lurking" at this wonderful Yahoo group for some time, and thanks to encouragement from your posts, I have finally made the decision to get started in the art show business. I just purchased a nearly new set of pro panels from an artist friend - now I need to develop my inventory (well, get the photos printed and matted - I have a lot of art to work with), and get accepted to a few shows. I think this is a process that will take some time!
I would like to find a graphic designer who will not charge me a fortune to put together a logo for my business. Do any of you have experiences with this? I was thinking that perhaps there might a student who would like to do this project for a small stipend? I would really appreciate hearing your thoughts/ideas/suggestions on this topic.
