I use both larger ca. 1/2" and smaller (ca. 3/8"). The larger ones were the
ones Trimline sold, the smaller ones were some I had to buy at a show when I
couldn't find my other ones. It doesn't make much difference. the smaller
ones may be a little easier to put in the mesh, the larger ones are easier
to hang photos onto. I use some drapery hooks if I want to display some
unframed photos. Besides I'm usually tired early i nthe morning and I don't
want to jab myself with the pointy end.
