for regular prints-
mpix has outstanding prices at above 8x10.
snapfish and shutterfly has good quality at the lower prices for 4x6 and
5x7s. one definitely does photo prints larger that I haven't used, the
other appears to do poster prints
I tried out Nations Photo lab since their 8x10s are really well priced and
their quality was good.
my wife did some personal prints with one of the places with walgreens
pickup and their quality was as good as any of the above
the difference I found between all of them is the coating/gloss level of
their paper and amount of color correcting/vividness they do and if they
offered a specific size I loved the vividness snapfish and shutterfly give
to the photos (exact color doesn't matter for my content, vivid vs not is a
subjective choice) but I much prefer the lower gloss paper at mpix.
my favorite is still mpix. They're less than 4 hours away from me by car so
their lowest cost shipping is one day for me
I haven't done canvas products or mounting anywhere I mount my own prints
for a fraction the cost but would like to know more about canvas myself
I would like to know about canvas quality.
