Re: [artshow_photo] When does a photo stop being a photo?

 

I ponder this question almost daily.
 
I compose through the viewfinder, I color adjust and crop if necessary at home: that's me, I chronical what I see. I recently read a blog by another local photographer who says he has spent upwards of six hours on an image... Is it still a photo or has it now become a rendering?
 
I think there are as many answers as there are photographers.
