Yes BK, they are hybrid batteries, but what is important is the amp hour
rating. Using (2) 6 volt golf cart batteries in series will work fine, but
you will add 20 to 30% in weight and 30 to 40% in cost, and get about 20%
more capacity. The weight was an issue for me, so I went with the Wal-Mart
marine/deep cycle batteries. I live full-time in a motorhome and have much
experience with deep cycle batteries.

Those are marine batteries and are a hybrid starting and deep cycle
batteries. If you constantly run them flat, it will kill them, real deep
cycle batteries are hard to find. Buying 2 six volt golf cart batteries and
running them in series is the common way to find some but I believe that
combo weighs 130 pounds. I get this from the RV world where batteries are of
great interest.
