There has to be something wrong with a business that purchases services from a retailer and then re-sells the product. Costco is a retailer and is set up to print quality that is "good enough" so that the moms and pops that have their stuff printed on canvas don't notice that something might be a little off - like the color.
If you are in business and want to sell canvas prints then I suggest there are two ways to do it. If you have enough volume then buy a high-end, fine-art printer. Otherwise, use a professional print shop like El-co Color Labs (www.elcocolor.com). You will pay a huge premium for printing (on the order of 2-3x what it would cost you to do it yourself) but you will be assured a professional result provided you know how to manage the color process and understand ICC profiles.
