I beg to differ.... John's work is head and shoulders above the rest. Granted he shoots locations that are sought out by every landscape and "doors & windows" photographer in the world, but his images set the standard.

I've been doing art shows for 30 years and the first time I saw him I thought his work was acceptably average. This was in Omaha, NE in the mid-eighties. Then 15 years later I saw his work in Green Bay, WI and I was stunned. I don't shoot what he shoots so there is no overlap or competition, but I remember telling a friend (also in the show and a direct competitor of his), that in my opinion, his images were "perfect".

Since then, John and I have become friends and I don't know anyone who works harder than he does to present his work in the best light. His latest work is produced with a digital Hasselblad and printed from multiple exposures through HDR.

Stop, look, listen. It doesn't get any better than that.
