RE: [artshow_photo] Re: new website - BUT - what about Authenticity?

Ah ha! Now you photogs know how printmakers felt when the word "print" was
hijacked, raped and dismembered by the repro industry.

I have to call my wares
"original-limited-edition-hand-pulled-woodcuts-designed-carved-printed-by-th
e-artist-signed-and-numbered"

My business cards have to be pano-sized to accommodate all that!

All in jest,

Maria

Subject: [artshow_photo] Re: new website - BUT - what about Authenticity?

> The term "photoshopped" as in "This picture has been photoshopped" has
acquired the pejorative meaning of an image that looks fake (or even
bizarre) by an excessive application of post-production processing. One
often sees a "photoshopped" example with razor sharp edges or unconvincingly
intense colors.

I think we should all start selling "Photoshopped Giclees"!
