I have restrained myself from adding to political discussions (and I won't even say here what side of the fence I come down on, as it is irrelevant to discussing art shows). But several times I have privately emailed Larry (as I'm sure others have also) asking him to close down threads that have turned political, and to also ban from the group people who cannot restrain themselves from adding politics to the discussions.
I do use the delete button, though I hate deleting posts from this forum because there is frequently so much good information to be learned.
But I've had it. There is no excuse for Alex hijacking this important thread on weather and turning it political. I call on Larry to start removing people from the group who cannot restrain themselves.
This continued political BS and personal attacks (from both sides) will drive away experienced folks who just want to discuss art shows, discourage new folks from joining or participating, and ultimately destroy the forum.
