I'm just getting back to this, thanks for everyone's input. Jim, I didn't
see any overviews unless you are talking about for each individual
projector. What options do I need? I am assuming I need wide screen or do
I? When I did the presentation at the camera club with their projector it
made everything square. Was that a setup problem or was it because it was
not a wide screen and not matched to my wide screen computer? Do I need
SVGA or XGA? It looks like wide screen only comes in XGA.

Hi Alison...
I recent purchased an NEC projector (NP215) from TigerDirect.
I would suggest that you go to TigerDirect and look at the projectors, but
more importantly...look at their overviews of projectors and specs. You can
learn a lot.
My lamp (after about 8,000 hours) will cost about $150 to replace. You can
identify the cost of the replacement lamp prior to purchasing the projector.
And just a side comment...it sure is nice owning my own projector. No more
'Projector Roulette'!
