Many promoters require proof of insurance, but I have never seen a
suggestion of who sells this.
A couple of months ago during a similar discussion regarding business
insurance, an insurance agent politely offered up himself as a resource
person. I talked to him and he is a really nice, informed agent. (No we are
NOT related!). His name is Chris Alexander and I found him to be quite
knowledgeable.
He is with RLI Insurance and can be reached at:
'chris.alexander@rlicorp.com'
Phone number I have is 866-741-6560 ext 5481.
I hope this reference is helpful and appropriate for this forum.

Subject: [artshow_photo] Where to you purchase insurance for your shows?
OK, reading about the terrible damage that storm did, and looking forward to
my own first show - just where to you purchase show insurance? Many
promoters require proof of insurance, but I have never seen a suggestion of
who sells this.
Thanks!
