Barbara - I use double sided tape (with a tape gun) along the back of the
frame, then put a heavy (craft) paper on it. Spray it with water and let it
dry. It looks awful when you do it, but in an hour it's as tight as a
drum. You can buy a tool to trim the excess (see, eg.,
Framing4Yourself.com). Then I attach the eyes, wire, bumpers and a gold
sticker with my business name and website on it.
I'm pretty new at this, too, so you should listen to what more experienced
people think as well.
