In the past, I have had my work professionally framed, with the craft backside, on which I glue my card. For the next fair (AA Street Art Fair), I am trying in addition two smaller sizes framed with inexpensive glass and no craft paper. This enables me to also sell at a lower price point (5x7 framed to 8x10, $35 and larger framed to 12x16, ~$75). It is easy to change the photograph in the frame, so I can accommodate a prospective customer in 15 minutes if he/she likes a matted unframed photo.

When I use a wooden frame with a wire hanger, it is usually the foamcore backing or a black backing that might be sold with the frame that is visible on the backside. Very professional framing uses a sheet of craft paper which is glued to the back to keep out dust, and this gives a nice finished look to the frame. Do most of you do that, or do you just leave the foam core or black backing as it is?
