It looks like you have two options. 1) Rent a tow vehicle with a hitch
that can pull
your 5x8 trailer or 2) Rent a vehicle that can haul all of your stuff
with no trailer.
In the past I have called all over Dallas and found NO small vehicles
with trailer hitches for rent.
No mini vans and no pick ups any size with trailer hitches. I did find
a company here
called Capps rental that rents 15 passenger window vans with trailer
hitches and will
allow you to pull your own trailer. 1 1/2 ton trucks & larger are
available with hitches but the
rates and gas mileage is terrible.
That leaves option 2. The cubic footage inside minivans etc. is not
always usable.
You MUST also consider the entry opening. I have some tubs that will not
fit in the
back door of any ole SUV. Furthermore, my full length Pro Panels don't
fit length wise
and allow the rear door to close. You might look for what used to be
called a "High Cube"
van. Basically these are regular vans with the back 1/2 cut off and a
larger box fitted in place.
The entry is lower and the ride and gas is usually better. Good luck.
