I used Square this past weekend and on one transaction had an issue
[my fault in swiping] and on the other it was perfect == they sign
with their name as best possibel and you just send as text to SMS or
else email [I prefer the latter] - very efficient.
When I got back, I needed the CCV number in addition to the card
number, exp. date, and zip = emailed the purchaser who was honest
enough to send it to me and it went right thru.
You know immediately if the transaction worked because you'll get a
confirmation email from Square.
And the money has already been placed in my bank account.
heartily recommended
and you don't need PCI compliance stuff == I asked and they are.
