I'm always amazed when I see nicely matted/framed photographs in stores
and offices, and the photographs themselves are poorly composed,
out-of-focus, over or under exposed, unlevel horizons, etc., etc. I'm beginning to
formulate a theory that the wholesale buyers deliberately pick lousy
photographs because they relate them to their own lousy photographs they take, and/or
they assume the general viewing audience takes lousy photographs for the
most part so they'll relate to them.
That's the only explanation I can come up with, because MANY of the
photographs I see displayed would receive an "F" in any basic photography class.
