[artshow_photo] a bit OT: crossover car suggestions with a 40x60 plus flat area

Hi folks:

I have been looking for a crossover-type car to haul photo gear and large canvas prints (I need about a 40x64 (or larger) flat space in the back, and about 40 inches of vertical height. I thought that meant a minivan was necessary, but the 2010/2011 Toyota RAV4 fits the bill so far (it even has D-rings to use bungees or other strapping material). The Chevy HHR is not too far behind on my list, though the space is smaller. Does anyone else have a suggestion for a crossover-type car that gets about 30MPG Hwy ($25,000 price range new) that has a large and flat storage area?
