I had the same result, although I had forgotten about it until Larry
reminded me earlier of the steps I needed to take to get the new posts
sent to me.
So I tried to log in and it said I needed to activate the account. So I
tried the lost password route, which reset my password, at which point I
was again told to go check my mail to activate, it's been about a couple
of hours and no message has arrived here.
Yes, I checked all possible folders if it had been treated as spam, and
it wasn't. The message with the new temp password arrived almost
instantly, within 30 seconds anyway. But the activation messages don't
seem to get here.
