Not likely in my case, Larry. I have all spam filtering turned off at my
ISP. My spam filter has an Unsure folder where the less-obvious Viagra
offers and the occasional confirmation message goes, and routes the
really useless stuff to the Trash. In other words, if I know within an
hour or two when a message should have arrived, I can absolutely tell.
(The next day I will have cleared both folders, but in this case I
looked first.)
The activation message was almost certainly not sent.
