If you are dealing with existing customers and just need a website for download and payments, photodeck should be the choice since no commissions for the sale.

In photodeck, the keywords that pick up by search engines are what is in your images title, there are some traffics comes from search engines, even with google images search. I do see photoshelter appeared during search results as well. I am not sure who got a better SEO, but I think as long as you have a strong portfolio and know how to target your market then both sites should serve the purpose.
