[artshow_photo] Recent open letter to Camera Manufacturers

Hi Larry:

Having the ability to add a prefix is a great option. The only problem with the system you've chosen is that you need to remember to change the 0 to 1, 2,3,4, 5, then 8 after each 9999 photos.

The system I came up with avoids that, while allowing you to have a different letter or number for different cameras.

After hearing some people's comments about 8 characters being an unchangeable part of the standard file naming protocol, I wrote this article outlining a way to make the system work in 8 characters:
