Hello,

What you want is to create a deckle edge. You do this by using a tearing
bar, which is used by printmakers. It is a weighted metal bar some with a
beveled edge. You lay it along the edge and tear the paper. In a pinch you
can use a heavy metal straight edge or even scissors that create a deckle
edge but it is not as random as a tearing bar.

I would invest in a good heavy 36" long tearing bar. These are the ones I
use; I have 24", 36" & 48". ( I have a minor in Printmaking)
