I'm not big on encouraging roving bands of revenuers, but your comment
just didn't make much sense. Seriously, what did you think the job of
the revenue department was if not to enforce the tax code? If that's
their job, and I think it is, enforcing the tax code isn't something you
can dismiss as an occupation for their "free time", it's their central
responsibility.
I'm one who often things that government is a scam, but individuals who
are involved in that scam always carry really good identification.
