As a 'newbie' I was just trying to get an idea before I take the plunge into the market of art shows.

I have so many different subjects I was just trying to get an idea and not make a giant new-guy mistake (like: "oh boy, that there is yet another guy selling a picture of the sun, how lame..."). Trying to narrow down my focus.

I agree, if you have something unique and creative, it will sell.
